Man Utd legend Gary Neville interrupts Jamie Carragher broadcast

Manchester United great Gary Neville and Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher have taken part in a hilarious back and forth not for the first time, on this occasion ahead of the clash at Anfield this afternoon.

Carragher was broadcasting live on Instagram prior to today's encounter between United and Liverpool.

Showing 'The Walk of Champions' wall inside the Anfield tunnel, Carragher was quick to say that the Reds would be soon making it 19 league titles, just one shy of United's record.

Neville interrupted Carragher's broadcast and offered a one-fingered gesture towards the former Liverpool defender.

Carragher soon pointed out that Neville was walking towards the Liverpool dressing room, with the United great responding by changing his course and saying 'f--- off' to his fellow Sky Sports pundit.

The former Liverpool star then ended the broadcast by saying: 'Perfect'.

On the field, Liverpool opened the scoring in the contest thanks to Virgil van Dijk's header before the hosts had two goals ruled out.

Roberto Firmino's effort was disallowed by VAR due to a foul by Van Dijk on United goalkeeper David de Gea before Gini Wijnaldum found the back of the net, only for the goal to be ruled out due to offside.
