Man Utd in three-way battle to sign £20m rising star, Arsenal to seal £25m capture of in-demand wonder as Aston Villa and Bournemouth race to sign Liverpool starlet - Premier League transfer rumours

The Premier League transfer rumours for July 14, 2019.

Man Utd in battle to sign £20m rising star

Manchester United are said to be one of the clubs, along with Liverpool and Arsenal, interested in signing £20m Russian rising star Fedor Chalov.

The CSKA Moscow striker is on the radar of many of Europe's top clubs, Mirror Online reports, with the 21-year-old being tipped to be a huge star in Russian football.

He has been with CSKA since the age of eight, and ended last season as the Russian Premier League's top scorer on 15 goals.

Arsenal improve bid for Celtic left-back

Arsenal have reportedly made an improved offer of around £25m for Celtic's Kieran Tierney.

Sky Sports News report that, after an initial bid of £15m was rebuffed three weeks ago, a new bid has been made.

The 22-year-old was restricted to 21 league appearances for Celtic last term after being restricted by a hernia problem.

Bournemouth in for Harry Wilson

Bournemouth are said to be the latest club to show an interest in Liverpool teenager Harry Wilson.

The Welsh talent, who enjoyed a successful loan spell with Derby County last season, is thought to be also being tracked by Aston Villa, Wolves and Brighton & Hove Albion, Liverpool Echo reports.

With the Academy bolstering Jurgen Klopp's side in their 6-0 win against Tranmere on Thursday, the Reds manager was later full of praise for his players.

He told the club's official website: "They were all good.

"Harry [Wilson] and Ryan [Kent] played outstandingly. Ben Woodburn, it was probably the best game I saw that he’s back, you see it in training already, he is really physically strong now, he is fresh again, sharp again."

Villa target left out of squad

Neal Maupay, who is said to be an Aston Villa summer transfer window target, was left out of Brentford's pre-season match against Dynamo Kiev on Saturday, Birmingham Live reports.

The 22-year-old Frenchman is said to have also attracted the interest of Aston Villa, Sheffield United, Brighton and West Ham.
