Man Utd 'identify shock transfer alternative' to No.1 target Jadon Sancho

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could make a shock move to take Wilfried Zaha back to Manchester United .

Zaha spent just six months in the Old Trafford first-team following his move from Crystal Palace in 2013.

He only made a handful of appearances under David Moyes before being loaned to Cardiff for the remainder of the 2013/14 season.

Zaha played under Solskjaer during his brief stint in south Wales but could not keep the club in the Premier League.

He has since established himself as one of the most dangerous wingers in the Premier League at Crystal Palace and that has led to talk of him returning to Old Trafford.

Solskjaer is keen to add reinforcements in the wide positions and Jadon Sancho is United's No.1 target.

But Borussia Dortmund are reluctant to do business and could demand around £80m for the England starlet.

His new international teammate Callum Hudson-Odoi is also on United's radar but Chelsea are unlikely to let him go due to their transfer ban.

And the Sun reports Zaha is now being considered by Solskjaer if he cannot land his top two targets.

Man Utd legend urges Ole Gunnar Solskjaer not to sign transfer target

United have a history of re-signing former players when they have revitalised their careers elsewhere.

Paul Pogba was let go by United to join Juventus but completed a world-record return just years later.

Zaha is on the radar of a host of top clubs with Tottenham and Manchester City believed to be monitoring his progress.

He has spent five seasons back at Selhurst Park and it appears a case of when not if he will move on.

But does he have unfinished business at Old Trafford?
