Man Utd hope to complete £50m Aaron Wan-Bissaka transfer within 48 hours

Crystal Palace are holding out for at least £50million up front for Aaron Wan-Bissaka as Manchester United close in on a deal for the right-back.

United hope to seal the signing of Wan-Bissaka in the next 48 hours but a fee is still yet to be agreed for the 21-year-old.

The deal is set to reach £60m and will break the transfer record for a British defender.

Talks between the two clubs over a fee are set to continue and United hope the deal will go through in the coming days.

Wan-Bissaka is currently with England Under-21s at the European Championship in Italy. England manager Aidy Boothroyd has said the FA will help the player and the two clubs if a deal is agreed and they need to accommodate a medical.

But Palace chairman Steve Parish will refuse to sell Wan-Bissaka until the club's valuation is met.
