Man Utd have already been given green light to sign Eduardo Camavinga after Jadon Sancho

Manchester United have already been given the green light to make a move for reported transfer target Eduardo Camavinga.

The Rennes teenager is on the radar of a number of top clubs, with Manchester United said to be at the front of the queue to snap up the Frenchman in this summer's transfer window.

The Red Devils are keen to complete a deal for Jadon Sancho first after missing out on the Dortmund ace last season.

Personal terms have already been agreed between United and Sancho, meaning the deal should be finalised once the Red Devils and Dortmund shake hands on a price.

According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United will turn their attention to Camavinga after Sancho's arrival.

The Old Trafford club reportedly consider the young midfielder to be a great alternative to Jude Bellingham, who they missed out on signing last summer when he left Birmingham for Dortmund.

Rennes are said to be open to selling as they would rather cash in on the midfielder now rather than lose him on a free when his contract expires in June 2022.

And, in another boost for the Red Devils, Camavinga's agent Jonathan Barnett has already given United - and other interested clubs - his blessing to make a bid this June.

"It is going to be harder. I'm expecting three or four very big deals of my own that will break a lot of records," Barnett told the Athletic.

"Hopefully, they'll come about. For the smaller clubs, I think there won't be as many transfers. We have some very good players.

"We have probably the best young player in the world in Camavinga. We've got [Jack] Grealish. We've got [Ibrahima] Konate at Leipzig. But then I've got over 100 players."

Camavinga has been coy on the rumours surrounding his future in recent months.

Back in September, he said: "Certainly when a big club is interested, it is nice. But I am not getting carried away.

"I took this choice with my family [to stay at Rennes]. We are happy to have made this decision. I just need to focus on football and not think too much about everything else around it."
