Ronaldo’s stance on legacy
Cristiano Ronaldo has lost two of his incredible records in just a matter of days – although the Manchester United superstar will probably be unfazed.
Two of Ronaldo's goalscoring records fell over the weekend as Robert Lewandowski equalled his record for the most goals scored in a calendar year as the Bayern Munich talisman registering his 69th goal of 2021.
And Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic has also tied with Ronaldo for most league goals in a single Serie A year after netting his 33rd against Sassuolo.
But there is one simple reason the Manchester United forward probably won't mind.
January decisions to be made
Departures are quite simply going to be needed at Old Trafford once the transfer window opens next month.
The United playing squad is stacked full of players who need to be moved on, while some are also pushing for moves themselves after becoming disillusioned with a lack of playing time.
It means Ralf Rangnick faces some big decisions next month regardless of whether he is able to bring in any new faces.

Rangnick set to get transfer wish

But a number of players have now appeared on the United wishlist and they could make moves once the January transfer window next month.
