Man Utd fans turn on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after Everton thrashing as eye-popping Cardiff City stat emerges

Things haven't quite gone to plan since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was appointed permanent Manchester United boss.

After an extremely encouraging start to his tenure as caretaker manager, things have gone sour in the north west.

Defeat at Goodison Park - a 4-0 thrashing - means United have six defeats in their last eight games in all competitions - although Barcelona in the Champions League are in there twice.

The former Cardiff City boss had been lauded after he took over from Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford, initially making a positive impact on the side's footballing style.

But recent performances have been poor - indeed, the Bluebirds have more clean sheets than United so far this season (Cardiff nine, United seven) despite being in a relegation battle and United battling for a place in the top four.

Supporters have been quick to point the finger at Solskjaer.
