Man Utd fans react to Kalidou Koulibaly's first half performance vs Arsenal

Manchester United fans will hope that their club's Europa League days are behind them, but plenty of them were taking an interest in Thursday night's action.

United might be halfway through their Champions League quarter-final against Barcelona - where they'll now need a miraculous Nou Camp comeback, not for the first time in their history while Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is involved - but it was all about the Emirates for a lot of them 24 hours after they were beaten 1-0 by the Catalans.

The reason? Kalidou Koulibaly.

The Senegalese defender is high on the mythical shopping list for many supporters as they eye Solskjaer's possible summer additions, and so there was a chance to do a scouting mission in North London.

The verdict though? Well as far as the first half was concerned, not good.

Koulibaly saw the ball disappear between his legs following a Alexandre Lacazette pass in the build-up to Arsenal's opener, scored by Aaron Ramsey. And then he deflected a Lucas Torreira effort into his own net to make it 2-0.

Does that mean he's a terrible defender? No, not at all.

But this is the internet we're talking about, and so there was plenty of this...

They'd surely still take him though, right?
