Man Utd fans react to Gary Neville's "announce Paulo Dybala" re-tweet amid transfer link

Manchester United legend Gary Neville has set tongues wagging in his home town by re-tweeting an "announce Paulo Dybala" tweet.

The only problem is the tweet was posted in response to Neville announcing Salford City will be sponsored by telecommunications company TalkTalk this season - suggesting Dybala would sign for the club he part owns.

What's more, Neville's re-tweet was quickly undone by the former Red Devils right-back, but not before United fans spotted it and reacted as you'd expect.

One supporter tweeted: "Tell us what you know Gary we saw that re-tweet," while another said: "Gary re-tweeted this." A third wrote: "What do you know Gary?" and a fourth concluded: "Start talking Gary".

Dybala has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester United in recent weeks but the deal is subject to other transfers taking place.

Romelu Lukaku is looking for an Old Trafford escape route and has been linked to Juventus as part of a swap deal for Dybala.

But the Argentine reportedly wants big wages to join United - more than what Paul Pogba earns - which could end the Red Devils' interest in signing him.

Meanwhile Inter Milan are looking at swapping Dybala for Mauro Icardi, which would have huge implications for Lukaku, and presumably see him remain at Old Trafford.
