Man Utd fans plan fresh anti-Glazer protest ahead of rearranged Liverpool clash

Manchester United fans have planned another mass anti-Glazer protest ahead of next week's rescheduled Premier League game against Liverpool.

Sunday's game against Liverpool was postponed after 200 United fans stormed Old Trafford after a protest against the club's owners the Glazers descended into violent scenes.

Protestors gained access to the dressing-rooms, hospitality areas and the pitch, with some swinging on the goalposts and others causing criminal damage to property, before police restored order.

The game was called off an hour after the original kick-off time of 4.30pm on safety and security grounds, and rescheduled for next Thursday at 8.15pm.

Organisers of Sunday's protest vowed there would be no let-up, and plans are already in place for a second demonstration ahead of the rescheduled game against Jurgen Klopp's side.

A message sent out by United supporters on social media says: “Thursday 13 th May, Old Trafford, Trinity Statue, WE GO AGAIN!

“Bring your friends, family, flares, flags, banners and scarves. Let's get another huge turnout and show the Glazers we're not stopping until they go #GlazersOut.”

There will be increased security around Old Trafford for the rescheduled game, with the eyes of the world on United and their stadium after the mayhem of last weekend.
