Some Manchester United supporters are concerned by the shortage of youngsters in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's squad for United's game at Huddersfield on Sunday afternoon.
James Garner, Angel Gomes and Tahith Chong all travelled with the first team to the John Smith's Stadium, but only the latter was included in the matchday squad of 18.
United, who sit sixth in the Premier League table, three points adrift of fourth, are all but guaranteed Europa League next season after a run of four league defeats in six squandered the successful bridging of the 11-point gap to the top four achieved by Solskjaer after taking over from Jose Mourinho in December.
The United manager suggested the younger members of his squad would be afforded further first-team exposure before the end of the season in his pre-match press conference on Friday.
"In midfield, up front, we have got loads of goals in our team," he said. "We’ve got youngsters coming through.
"Hopefully we can see Mason [Greenwood] before end of the season, not now, he's injured but hopefully in the last game against Cardiff he will get his injury sorted and he will be ready."
But United fans on Twitter were unimpressed by the line-up for the Huddersfield game, with Juan Mata (31) and Alexis Sanchez (30) starting in the forward three alongside Marcus Rashford.
