Manchester United fans have gone into a frenzy as a result of Swansea City star Daniel James' latest social media activity.
Reports on Friday morning claimed the Red Devils were close to agreeing a deal that would see the Wales international move to Old Trafford for a fee of £15m.
However, WalesOnline understands the Swans have Daniel James latest as Manchester United linked with £15m swoop for Swansea City star wanted by Leeds United about a possible swoop for James.
But speculation over James' future remains rife.
And one United fan spotted a tweet - posted last year - from James in which the 21-year-old praised Liverpool ace Mohamed Salah.
The Swansea City winger wrote: "Salah is some player," alongside the fire emoji.
Twitter user @UtdChe responded to the message on Friday, urging James to remove the message from his account.
"You better delete this if you join bro," he wrote.
And either in response to the message or by remarkable coincidence, the tweet was swiftly deleted by James.
The Manchester United faithful were quick to put two and two together as a result of the young Swansea star's social media activity.
United boss Solskjaer was asked about the links to the Swansea man in a press conference on Friday morning.
But the Norwegian remained coy on his side's potential transfer dealings.
"I don’t know how many names have been mentioned, there are players I have barely seen who it says we are going to sign! The earlier you can do the transfers, the better it is," said the Norwegian.
"I can’t comment on every single individual. I don’t like when others talk about my players, I won’t talk about others."
