Man Utd fans angry with way Paul Pogba greeted Lionel Messi at Old Trafford

Manchester United fans weren't pleased with Paul Pogba right from the off on Wednesday.

The talented Red Devils midfielder was named in United's starting XI by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final clash with Barcelona.

Ahead of the game Pogba greeted the Barcelona players alongside his team-mates both in the Old Trafford tunnel and on the pitch.

The World Cup winner shook hands with all of them but opted to give Messi a hug, with the Argentine smiling widely and hugging him back.

The gesture was pretty meaningless on the face of things, but some United fans reacted badly to it on social media, especially as Pogba has been linked with a move to Spain in recent weeks.
