Man Utd defender Diogo Dalot in China for hip injury rehabilitation

Diogo Dalot has been undergoing rehabilitation in China as the Manchester United defender works his way to recovery from a hip problem.

Shanghai SIPG said on their official website that Dalot arrived in Shanghai on August 29 and received a "10-day special treatment" from their head of medical department Eduardo, a Brazilian who is known as the 'Miracle Doctor'.

The 20-year-old Portuguese player has missed all four of United's matches so far this season, with boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer last month saying the hope was he would be back after the international break.

With Luke Shaw suffering a hamstring injury against Crystal Palace, Ashley Young has been deployed at left-back - a role Dalot would likely have taken on.

Dalot joined the Red Devils from Porto in the summer of 2018 and made 23 appearances for them in all competitions last season.
