Manchester United could reportedly make a move for Villarreal defender Pau Torres based on his performance in this week's Europa League final.
The Red Devils are believed to be in the market for a top centre-back this summer to partner Harry Maguire.
Real Madrid's Raphael Varane is another name that has been linked, with talks even held between United and the Frenchman's representatives.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is very keen to get a closer look at Villarreal's key man Torres on Wednesday though.
There is not believed to have been any discussion between United and Torres, with the 24-year-old not seeing it has any kind of 'audition' for a move to United.

But the Manchester Evening News strongly suggest that a fine performance in a European final would certainly go a long way to showing whether Torres is the level of quality United are looking for.
The Spain international is under contract with Villarreal until 2024, so would not be a cheap option.
But with Manchester City and Real Madrid also linked with the player, it appears that Torres is the real deal.
Torres addressed the rumours of a move to United last month, admitting that he was flattered by the interest, but was taking things step by step.
“It’s a pride to see that your work is reflected in these kind of things that are talked about,” he told Sport.
“But I face it with a lot of calm, I’m in a great club like Villarreal, and from the tranquillity, I work every day.

“I’m not thinking about that (taking a step forward) either, there’s still a long way to go, and my short-term objectives are the European semi-final and then to be available for the national team."
Torres did appear to hint that he would welcome an opportunity to play for one of the top clubs in Europe, insisting he loves to learn from more experienced players.
“Both Barça and Madrid are big teams in La Liga, they fight for all the titles every year, and they are both big clubs," he added.
“Players who have played for big clubs, when they talk about their experiences, I like to listen to them, whether it’s Paco Alcácer, Raúl Albiol or Alberto Moreno. They tell you things that you haven’t experienced yet and that you think you would like to experience.”
