Manchester United have confirmed they have reached an agreement to sign Monaco wonderkid Hannibal Mejbri.
United have pipped a host of clubs to the signature of the 16-year-old, who will complete the switch when he turns 17 in January.
Mejbri, a France youth international, is set to move to Old Trafford subject to FIFA approval.
Super agent Jorge Mendes was reportedly at United's training ground last month to agree a deal with United, worth around £9m.
A host of clubs were said to be keen on the teenager, including Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool, PSG and Barcelona.
But United invited him to their Carrington training ground in a bid to woo him and his family, with the teen deciding on the switch to Old Trafford shortly afterwards.
It was there that Le Parisien report that Mejbri met with Pogba and Martial, who spoke to him in French and encouraged him to "join them quickly" in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first-team setup.
The report adds that Solskjaer was similarly encouraging, telling the youngster to "work hard to get where the club want to see him" in the near future.
Mejbri only joined Monaco in a £1million deal in August last year having had spells in the academies at Paris FC and AC Boulogne-Billancourt.
But United scouts have been monitoring his progress and have now struck a deal for the youngster.
The Red Devils are also waiting on international clearance for 16-year-old Dutch defender Bjorn Hardley.
Fellow new recruits Johan Gyadagno, Mateo Mejia and Dillon Hoogewerf have been cleared to play.
