Man Utd song ‘Ole’s at the Wheel’ is the backing track to the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer revolution

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has won plaudits across the world of football for reversing the fortunes of a wounded Manchester United side.

The club's revival under their former marksman has seen them eat up the 11-point gap to the Premier League top four, and advance to the quarter-finals of both the FA Cup and the Champions League.

A 3-1 victory in Paris on Wednesday saw United become the first club in Champions League history to lose the first leg by two goals and still progress.

Marcus Rashford scored a last-gap penalty awarded after a VAR intervention as United stunned Paris Saint Germain to reach the last eight.

The visitors, severely depleted by injuries, went ahead in the first half through Romelu Lukaku before Juan Bernat equalised for the French champions. Lukaku then pounced on a spill from Gianluigi Buffon to restore United's lead before the break, sealing his third brace in as many games.

PSG were advancing to the last eight 3-2 on aggregate before referee Damir Skomina awarded United a late penalty for a Presnel Kimpembe handball after a lengthy delay for the VAR review.

Rashford lashed home the spot-kick to level the tie at 3-3 and send United through on away goals.

It sparked wild scenes in the away end at the Parc des Princes as United fans celebrated a place in the Champions League last eight for the first time since 2014.

And chants of 'Ole's at the Wheel' were central to the celebrations, as supporters belted out the anthem which has become the backing track to United's revival under Solskjaer.

Ole's at the Wheel

To the tune of Stone Roses' 'Waterfall'

"Ole's at the wheel,

"Tell me how does it feel,

"We’ve got Sanchez, Paul Pogba and Fred,

"Marcus Rashford, a Manc born and bred,

"Du du, du du du du du

"Du du, du du du du du

"The greatest of English football,

"We’ve won it all."
