Man Utd, Barcelona and Man City 'track Turkish teenager Omer Faruk Beyaz'

Fenerbahce youngster Omer Faruk Beyaz has attracted the interest of several major clubs despite not playing a game for the Turkish side.

Barcelona , Juventus and Inter Milan are all interested in purchasing the 16-year-old - but it's Manchester United and Manchester City who could be the ones to clinch the deal, according to a report from Fotospor , as the two Manchester sides have increased their scouting network in Turkey.

The attacking midfielder's contract will expire in June 2021, while his club are hoping they don't endure another ‘Merih Demiral case’ in which a promising talent in the academy is snatched away by a larger club.

It comes as Mirror Sport can exclusively reveal that the Manchester rivals will lock horns in the pursuit of Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish.

United - along with Tottenham - had enquired about the attacker during January's transfer window - but the club and player were unwilling to do business.

But now the Red Devils are looking at lining up a huge bid in the summer transfer window for the 24-year-old, with it seeming all the more likely that their other target, James Maddison, will indeed sign a new contract with Leicester City.

Manchester City, too, will look to make a swoop on Grealish, with boss Pep Guardiola looking to make a clear out of some of his underperforming players.

Grealish has been in the form of his life this campaign. So far, he has netted nine goals, provided five assists, and helped the Villans reach the Carabao Cup final, which was supposed to take place in March but has since been postponded owing to the coronavirus outbreak.

His performances have even garnered the interest of England boss Gareth Southgate.

Grealish has represented England at under-21 level but is yet to earn his first cap for the Three Lions.

He is expected to make his first appearance as an England in their upcoming friendlies, which will, too, be played on a postponed date.
