Man Utd, Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City eye teenage striker Jovan Malcolm

Premier League giants Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool are all reported to be monitoring West Brom teenager Jovan Malcolm.

The 16-year-old striker has made a major impression for the Baggies Under 18s, scoring seven goals in five games including four goals against Liverpool last week.

His performances have alerted the Premier League's elite clubs, leaving West Brom facing a fight to keep hold of the talented youngster just a few months after losing Louie Barry to Barcelona.

Slavan Bilic's side are enjoying a resurgence as they look to seal a return to Premier League football two years after being relegated and will hope their form can convince Malcolm to stay put and bide his time for a first-team opportunity at the Hawthorns.

Former team-mate Barry became the first Englishman to join the famed La Masia when he headed to Spain in the summer.

They landed just £235,000 in compensation for their hottest property as he moved outside of the UK, although they would likely land much more for Malcolm should he stay in Britain.

Manchester United and Liverpool in particular have made some high-profile signings of top rated teenagers to build for the future.

Liverpool snapped up Harvey Elliott from Fulham and he has gone on to make an instant first-team impression, similar to Gabriel Martinelli after his summer move to Arsenal .

United, meanwhile, signed Monaco youngster Hannibal Mejbri and fellow French youth prospect Noah Emeran earlier this year to slot into their Under 18s side.

They have also welcomed Spanish wonderkid Mateo Mejia from Real Zaragoza as Solskjaer looks for a long-term rebuild.

But there is plenty of competition for Malcolm, who has raised plenty of eyebrows with his recent performances.
