Man Utd, Arsenal and Spurs handed huge top-four boost as Chelsea face injury worry

Chelsea face a nervous wait over the fitness over N'Golo Kante, after the midfielder was taken off at half-time during the 2-2 draw with Burnley on Monday evening.

The Blues are battling to finish inside the Champions League spaces at the end of the campaign and suffered a setback when the Frenchman left the field.

It marked the second injury for Chelsea on the night, with Callum Hudson-Odoi also being replaced by Pedro in the first half.

It's understood that Mateo Kovacic and Ross Barkley were warming up when Hudson-Odoi went down with his problem, therefore meaning Kante was already suffering an issue.

After the game, Chelsea coach Gianfranco Zola said: "He had a contusion in his ribs landing on a player’s leg. He should be alright, but nothing serious."

However, the player will still need to be fully assessed.

The 2-2 draw with Burnley means the Blues miss the chance to go to third in the Premier League, and must now hope that Tottenham and Arsenal drop points against Brighton and Wolves respectively in midweek.

Jeff Hendrick had given the visitors a shock lead with a sensational volley from outside the area.

But N'Golo Kante scored an almost instant equaliser after good work from Eden Hazard on the left.

Gonzalo Higuain then put Chelsea into the lead with a well-taken strike from the angle, but Ashley Barnes stunned the home fans after sliding the Clarets level after a well-worked set piece.

Chelsea pushed hard for a late winner, but Sean Dyche's side were well organised and defended their box masterfully to take a point which surely guarantees their safety from relegation.

Next up for the Blues is a huge trip to Manchester United on Sunday where Sarri will be desperate for three points to keep pace in the top four race.
