Man Utd 'agree' terms in monster £80m deal, Liverpool to battle Barcelona for £18m starlet, Arsenal hijack Tottenham's plans after £27m deal as Bale's future becomes clearer - transfer rumours

The latest Premier League transfer rumours for July 21, 2019.

Man Utd 'agree' Maguire terms

Manchester United have reportedly agreed terms on an £80million deal for Leicester's Harry Maguire.

After a £70m bid was reportedly rebuffed, United are still keen to secure their target and, the Express reports, are seemingly close to doing so.

It seems the Red Devils have now put up more cash to try and seal the deal.

Liverpool target will cost £18m

If Liverpool want to sign Philipp Max from Augsburg, it will cost them £18m.

That's according to the Mirror , who say the left-back is being considered as an option as Jurgen Klopp looks for back-up to Andrew Robertson after Alberto Moreno left for Villarreal.

Barcelona have also been credited with an interest.

Arsenal confident of loan for Real Madrid star

Arsenal are hoping to complete a loan deal for midfielder Dani Ceballos from Real Madrid, the Mirror reports.

Gunners boss Unai Emery wants Ceballos to join for a year to boost his midfield options, and the club has held lengthy talks with Real Madrid and the player about a move, who are now said to be hopeful of getting a deal finalised.

Tottenham are also said to have been in the running to land the signature of the 22-year-old.

It also comes after Arsenal beat Spurs to sign St Etienne teenage defender William Saliba, with the 18-year-old centre half being due to undergo a medical and join in a £27m deal.

Bale's future becomes clearer

After Zinedine Zidane's astonishing comments that spell the end of Gareth Bale's Real Madrid career, it looks like the Welshman is on the brink of finally leaving the Spanish club.

"We hope he leaves soon. It would be best for everyone. We are working on his transfer to a new team," Zidane said. "I have nothing personal against him, but there comes a time where things are done because they must be done."

After a period of heightened speculation around his future, it remains to be seen where the Wales talisman will be playing his club football for the upcoming season.

And, despite previously trying to sign the 30-year-old, Manchester United are said to have no intention of signing him now.

Bale, 30, was never considered among United's priority targets this summer, the Manchester Evening News reports, with the outlet previously reporting how the Welshman could be "filed low down" on the club's list of possible attacking reinforcements.
