Man Utd agree deal for 17-year-old wonderkid, Willian's Arsenal wages revealed and Juventus prepared to let Aaron Ramsey go on a free - transfer rumours

Juve 'willing to let Ramsey go for free'

Transfer pundit Ian McGarry claims Juventus are so keen to get the midfielder off the wage books that they would be willing to let him depart on a free transfer.

He told the Transfer Window podcast: "Remember he joined from Arsenal for free in the summer of 2019 but is being allowed to leave after a disappointing first term in Italian football.

"It’s our understanding that, with no transfer fee, Ramsey’s salary in the remaining years of a very lucrative contract worth €150,000 net per week, he will receive some compensation on that to make it easier for him to go and there is interest from one Premier League club who we understand to be Everton and Carlo Ancelotti is keen to sign an attacking midfielder who can also break up play.

"However, that salary would definitely be a problem for Everton to match. but there’s also interest from Napoli and Roma, where because of tax laws in Italy they certainly can match Ramsey’s current earnings."

United's pursuit of Sancho 'not over by a long shot'

Sky Sports are reporting that Manchester United's pursuit of Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho is 'not over by a long shot'.

Noises coming out of Germany in recent days have suggested that the player will be going nowhere and any potential deal is off.

Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke said: "We agreed on this rule. Definite means definite. Jadon will play with us for the 2020/21 season. There is no room for interpretation."

But United, reportedly, remain unperturbed and Sky say there is still a chance the move could come off if the Premier League club put in a bid and Sancho pushes for the move himself.

Sky reporter Dharmesh Sheth said: "We know Sancho is willing to go to Old Trafford and I'm told there is potential for him to push for a move to United if they do something they haven't done up until this point which is make a substantial offer.

"United remain quite relaxed on their part. Their position has not changed, he remains their No 1 target this summer and they feel like any deadlines imposed by Dortmund is a little bit artificial and the transfer window doesn't close until October 5. Furthermore, the €120m valuation is far too high in the current climate.

"There have been a few reports on social media from respected journalists sang that Sancho has agreed personal terms with United. I'm told this is simply not the case, but talks are ongoing between Sancho's representatives and United.

"Something tells me this is not over by a long shot."

United agree deal for £10 million wonderkid

Meanwhile, Manchester United have reached an agreement to sign Partizan winger Filip Stevanovic, according to Serbian outlet Republika.

It is claimed that United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was impressed with the 17-year-old when Partizan and the Red Devils clashed twice in this year's Europa League.

A £10.8million fee has reportedly been agreed and the teenager will be loaned back to Partizan immediately.

Stevanovic scored nine goals in 30 matches last season.

Willian's Arsenal wages revealed

The Sun are reporting that new Arsenal winger Willian will become the club's second highest earner, trailing only Mesut Ozil on the wage bill.

The newspaper claim that the Brazilian will earn £220,000 per week - £20,000 more than striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang - after signing a three-year deal at The Emirates.

It is reported that Chelsea offered the winger a deal but were unable to match what The Gunners put on the table, seeing Willian leave Stamford Bridge at the conclusion of his contract.

"I believe he's a player that can really make a difference for us," said Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta.

"We had a clear intention to strengthen in the attacking midfielder and the winger positions."
