Manchester United delivered a rare fluid attacking performance to thrash Fulham at Old Trafford.
Marcus Rashford was the star, with a goal and two assists to leave Fulham rock bottom of the Premier League, after their hopes of a second half fightback were ended by André-Frank Zambo Anguissa's second half red card.
Romelu Lukaku returned to the starting XI, having been left out of the 2-2 draw against Arsenal in midweek, as did Ashley Young having been suspended.
It was Young who opened the scoring just 13 minutes in, nut-megging Denis Odoi and lashing a terrific effort high into the far corner.
United's second was a thing of beauty, a flowing move that saw Lukaku slip Rashford in down the left, and his pull back was swept home by the arriving Juan Mata.
The Spaniard then turned provider for the third, a superbly worked short corner that ended with Lukaku sidefooting home from inside the six-yard box.
Fulham were poor, with only a tame Alexander Mitrovic shot giving David De Gea anything to think about in the first period.
Claudio Ranieri hooked Mitrovic and Tom Cairney at the break, bringing on Luciano Vietto and Diomansy Kamara, but United remained on the front foot and Ander Herrera wasted a glorious chance to make it four after a horrible pass from Sergio Rico.
Kamara did pull one back from the penalty spot after he had been fouled by Herrera, but any chance of a comeback disappeared immediately when André-Frank Zambo Anguissa received a harsh second yellow for a tangle with Rashford.
And it was the England man who added some gloss to the scoreline, capping an excellent display with a cracking strike past Rico at the near post.
