Man Utd player ratings as fringe men fail to impress in Europa League win over LASK

Manchester United got the job done against LASK in the second leg of their Europa League last-16 tie after a 2-1 win at Old Trafford saw them progress 7-1 on aggregate.

With the Red Devils 5-0 up from the first leg in Austria Ole Gunnar Solskjaer rotated his starting line-up, with a mix of first-team and fringe players starting the game.

After a dire first half the visitors took the lead on the night after 55 minutes with a wonderful long-range strike from Philipp Wiesinger.

But Jesse Lingard equalised just two minutes later and Anthony Martial completed the turnaround late on.

Was nearly embarrassed when he fumbled a simple save from Reiter.

Grew into the game after a poor start and attacked down the right.

Looked shaky at times before he settled into the game.

Missed a couple of headed chances and was beaten in the air.

Was good in possession and got forward down the left flank.

Looked rusty before he improved and he created Lingard’s equaliser.

Was sloppy at times and his goal was deflected home off Wiesinger.

His final ball was poor and he wasted several good opportunities.
