Man Utd 1 Young Boys 0: Marouane Fellaini sends Red Devils into Champions League last-16

Manchester United are through to the Champions League last-16 after Maroaune Fellaini's last-gasp goal sealed a late 1-0 win over Young Boys at Old Trafford.

Having heard boos from the fans after Saturday's Premier League stalemate against Crystal Palace, Jose Mourinho changed things up with captain Antonio Valencia returning to the starting line-up.

United started brightly as they sought to put the Palace draw behind them, but Marcus Rashford was guilty of missing gilt-edged chances as United failed to find a way past the Swiss champions in the first half.

Mourinho left Romelu Lukaku and Paul Pogba among his substitutes, and was forced to call on the star duo midway through the second half with United still unable to force a goal - until injury time, that is.

Fellaini was once again Mourinho's saviour as the midfielder controlled a knock-down before turning to half-volley the ball home, sparking scenes of wild celebration from Mourinho on the touchline.
