Man United welcomed back fans to Old Trafford for the first time since December in tonight’s Premier League clash against Fulham.
Amid the ongoing sea of discontent among supporters over the ongoing ownership of the Glazer family, against whom fans have twice protested in recent weeks, United are looking to finish the season strongly ahead of next week’s Europa League Final.
Around 10,000 United fans were in attendance with plenty of anti-Glazer banners, though on the pitch, supporters were anticipating a reaction following defeats to both Leicester City and Liverpool last week.
Edinson Cavani made sure his first goal in front of United fans was a special one as he scored a 40-yard chip to put the Red Devils 1-0 up heading into half-time.
United looked strong in attack but shaky at the back with captain Harry Maguire still injured, and were made to pay as Joe Bryan’s second-half header earned Fulham a point.
