Man United vs Crystal Palace confirmed line ups: Gary Cahill debut & Christian Benteke dropped

Roy Hodgson has made four changes to the side that started in the Eagles' defeat to Sheffield United last weekend.

Gary Cahill comes into the side to make his first Premier League start for the Eagles, while Max Meyer, Christian Benteke, Scott Dann and Andross Townsend all drop of the side.

In their place comes the aforementioned Cahill as well as Cheikhou Kouyate, Jordan Ayew and Jeffrey Schlupp.

This likely sees Palace return to a 433 with Kouyate, McArthur and Milivojevic acting as a midfield three.

The Eagles are chasing the first win of the season and also their first league win over Manchester United since 1991 and will do so against an unchanged side from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

That team drew 1-1 with Wolves but the Red Devils boss has kept faith with a side which sees Aaron Wan-Bissaka face his former club.

Crystal Palace XI: Guaita; Ward; Kelly; Cahill; van Aanholt; Kouyate; McArthur; Milivojevic, Schlupp; Ayew; Zaha

Manchester United XI: De Gea; Lindelof; Maguire; Pogba; Martial; Rashford; Lingard; James; Shaw; Wan-Bissaka; McTominay.
