Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has injected some youth into his Manchester United line-up with Mason Greenwood starting against Cardiff City today, while club captain Antonio Valencia is on the bench for his Old Trafford farewell.
United youngsters Tahith Chong, Angel Gomes, and Greenwood have trained with the senior team this week with doubts over Romelu Lukaku, Alexis Sanchez and Anthony Martial, and Greenwood starts in an academy-heavy XI from Solskjaer.
Valencia, who has played 338 times in his 10 years at United, is set to depart at Old Trafford at the end of an injury-hit campaign and is among the subs, while Jesse Lingard returns from injury.
Solskjaer's front six - Marcus Rashford, Lingard, Greenwood, Scott McTominay, Andreas Pereira and Paul Pogba (via Juventus) - all came through the club's youth academy, which will cheer fans after a difficult campaign.
Ander Herrera announced his decision to leave United on Saturday, but is not in the squad.
Cardiff loan pair Harry Arter and Victor Camarasa will miss the game, and have played their final games for the club.
Arter has missed the last month with a calf strain, while fellow midfielder Camarasa was forced off against Crystal Palace last weekend with a dead leg.
