Man United v Arsenal odds: Mason Greenwood backed for first Premier League goal

In days gone by United v Arsenal showdowns were Premier League title deciders.

Now it's eighth plays 11th.

But the outcome could still have huge repercussions for either side. We asked the Manchester Evening News' Chief Manchester United writer Samuel Luckhurst how he thinks it might pan out.

Win, lose or draw?

Draw. United have beaten Arsenal with worse teams than the one they will field on Monday and Unai Emery's Arsenal still suffer bouts of Wengeritis. The draw is a well priced 12/5 shot with thepools.com

Who's a good bet for first scorer?

Mason Greenwood is yet to score in the Premier League but has two in his last two and United are already hanging their hats on him for goals. 6/1 is not the worst price around for him to open the scoring while the youngster is 21/10 to score at any time.

Who's on the naughty step? (first card)

If Luke Shaw is not deemed fit enough to start, then it could be one-way traffic with Nicolas Pepe up against Ashley Young.

Who's on pens?

Maybe Greenwood, though if Pogba starts Marcus Rashford won't be around to have a debate. Pogba is 13/2 to score first and 11/5 any time.

Will United keep a clean sheet?

No. Both Teams To Score is 4/7.
