Manchester United winger Matheus Cunha has publicly stated his belief that Michael Carrick deserves to be appointed the club's permanent manager.
Cunha praised Carrick for instilling confidence in the squad and bringing back the “magic” reminiscent of Sir Alex Ferguson's successful era.
Under Carrick's management, Manchester United have achieved a strong record of 10 victories and only two defeats in 14 matches.
Cunha scored the opening goal in United's 3-2 win against Liverpool on Sunday, a result that secured their qualification for next season's Champions League.
The player also expressed his view that the Champions League competition is diminished without Manchester United's participation, highlighting the club's importance.
