Cristiano Ronaldo appears to have been given the night off as a youthful Manchester United squad prepares to face BSC Young Boys in the Champions League on Wednesday.
United's spot in the knockout stage has been secured, along with top spot in the group, so Ralf Rangnick has given the opportunity for youngsters to make an impression. The interim manager spent longer at the training ground with the youth players.
Luke Shaw is in, however. The left-back has struggled to be deemed fully fit since he sustained a concussion in the Manchester derby last month and he was omitted from the Reds' squad for Rangnick's first game at the weekend against Crystal Palace.
Rangnick admitted that Anthony Elanga and Amad were in his thoughts ahead of the match and both youngsters were spotted with the team arriving at The Hyatt Hotel ahead of the final Champions League group stage fixture at Old Trafford.
Teden Mengi, 19, is another youngster to be been named in United's squad to play BSC Young Boys. Mengi featured heavily under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in pre-season and, after playing for United's U23s in the last few months, a loan move in January is expected.
Rangnick has confirmed that Dean Henderson will start tonight and he was duly pictured arriving at the team hotel. Mason Greenwood has been sidelined in recent weeks by design but also through COVID yet he was pictured in high spirits.
United added six academy stars to their Champions League squad on Tuesday, Bjorn Hardley, Charlie Savage, Charlie Wellens, Zidane Iqbal, Shola Shoretire and Sam Mather, which means Rangnick could hand out some full debuts versus BSC Young Boys.

However, Mather won't be in contention to play as he started for United's 19s in the UEFA Youth League on Wednesday.
