Everton lead race for Ibrahimovic

Everton could now be the frontrunners to sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who is believed to have taken offence at AC Milan’s offer of a £1.7m contract over 18 months.

The signing could be Carlo Ancelotti’s first as manager of the club, with the Italian currently locked in talks with the Blues about their vacant managerial role following the dismissal of Marco Silva earlier this month.

Ibrahimovic is now a free agent having left LA Galaxy last month and has been linked with Milan, Bologna and Napoli - but according to Rai Sport pundit Paolo Paganini, cited in the Mail , Everton now lead the chase for the 38-year-old.

Icardi snubs Juve

Mauro Icardi’s wife and agent Wanda Nara has revealed that he won’t be joining Juventus, despite continued linking him with a move to the Italian giants.

Instead the Argentine  is focused on his current loan spell at Paris Saint-Germain, where he has scored ho has scored 13 goals in 16 appearances so far this season, since joining from Inter Milan in the summer.

“No, no. The present of Mauro is in Paris, he is very well there and is realising some crazy goals as he always did,” Nara told Rete 4, via the Mirror , when asked about the links with Serie A side.“The only thing that interests me is his happiness and he is very happy at PSG.”

Can set to depart

Juventus midfielder Emre Can looks increasingly likely to leave  the club in January, according to Goal.com .

The former Liverpool star has been repeatedly overlooked by Maurizio Sarri since he took over the club in the summer, and was even left out of their Champions League group stage squad.

Manchester United are believed to be interested in the German international, who is now said to be keen on a move to restart his career.
