Man United's £45m bid, Arsenal 'contact' Ligue 1 star - Latest Premier League transfer rumours

The transfer window is in full swing as Premier League clubs look to seal their top targets with the new season looming ever closer.

With under six weeks until the beginning of the 2019/20 season, a host of England’s top clubs are stepping up their search for new recruits.

With Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal yet to spend a penny this summer, there is work to do for the Premier League’s big six.

Here are all the latest transfer news and rumours from the top flight.

Manchester United transfer news

Manchester United have finally settled on a centre-back this summer and are set to launch a £45m bid for West Ham’s Issa Diop.

The French youngster has caught the eye in his debut Premier League campaign at the London Stadium.

While speculation has been ongoing, the Red Devils look set to open negotiations this week, according to The Express .

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is desperate to add a new centre-back to his ranks and Diop seems to be the ideal candidate.

Youri Tielemans transfer news

Youri Tielemans is prepared to snub Manchester United in favour of a move to Leicester City, after it was revealed talks between the two clubs were progressing.

The Foxes have been desperate to bring back their loan star on a permanent basis, and despite interest from United and others, they remain favourites for his signature.

Belgian football expert Kristoff Terreur has told Sky Sports that a deal for the 22-year-old is close, although it is complicated by a potential part-swap with Andre Silva.

Although Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is understood to be a big admirer of the midfielder, their priority is a new defender, which could see them miss out on this signing.

Arsenal transfer news

Arsenal have 'made contact' with Nabil Fekir, although a deal could depend on the future of Mesut Ozil.

Reports in the French media are suggesting the Gunners have been offered a chance to sign the playmaker for £30m.

L’Equipe claim that the Gunners are yet to make a formal offer, over concerns of shifting Ozil out of the club this summer.

With Unai Emery’s summer budget totalling around £40m, the manager has reservations about signing Fekir, unless the German departs the Emirates, according to The Mirror .

West Ham transfer news

Marko Arnautovic is once again looking to move away from West Ham after he told the Hammers he wants to leave.

Football.London understands they are resigned to losing the 29-year-old striker and will accept any “sensible” offers for his services.

Despite performing a U-turn after his transfer request in January, Arnautovic has had his head turned again by speculation coming from China.

Arnautovic’s new deal saw the striker’s pay increase to £120k per week, but he seemingly has his heart set on one final China payday.
