Man United reveal surprising team to face Man City - and Spurs and Chelsea fans are loving it

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has named a surprising side to face Manchester City this evening.

Manchester United are expected to line up with five men in defence, with Ashley Young, Matteo Darmian, Victor Lindelof, Chris Smalling and Luke Shaw sitting in front of David De Gea.

Andreas Pereira joins Fred and Paul Pogba in midfield, while Jesse Lingard joins Marcus Rashford in attack.

World famous analysts give Spurs and Arsenal edge as things look bleak for Man United & Chelsea

As for Pep Guardiola's team, Man City have named as strong a side as you'd expect with Ederson, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Vincent Kompany, Aymeric Laporte and Kyle Walker in defence.

David Silva and Ilkay Gundogan join Fernandinho in midfield, while Bernarno Silva and Raheem Sterling will flank Sergio Aguero in attack.

There's plenty on the line for both sides as Man City target the Premier League title, while United are hoping to secure a top four finish.

Of course the fans of Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur will have a close eye on events at Old Trafford and they certainly didn't hold back on their views of Man United's team selection.
