Man United, Krasnodar and the other teams set to join Arsenal and Spurs in the Europa League

Manchester United are set to join Arsenal and Tottenham in the Europa League after losing out against RB Leipzig.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's Red Devils lost out 3-2 against RB Leipzig in their final Group H clash, meaning they are now set to finish in third place in the group.

As a result, Manchester United are now set to drop down to the Europa League, joining Premier League rivals Arsenal, Spurs and Leicester City in the last 32 of the competition.

Russian side Krasnodar, who drew 1-1 with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge this evening, are also set to join United in the Europa League after finishing third.

Elsewhere, Club Bruges and Dynamo Kiev are also set to join the Europa League in the last 32 after finishing third in their respective groups, while there are still 11 teams who could transfer from the Champions League to the Europa League when the competition resumes in February, with the remaining final group games taking place tomorrow.

Among those are Real Madrid, who must beat Borussia Monchengladbach in order to avoid dropping into the Europa League.

Inter Milan could also drop into the Europa League, with Antonio Conte's side facing Red Bull Salzburg tomorrow night.

Elsewhere, Atletico Madrid and Olympiacos will both bring back bad memories for Arsenal supporters and they are both at risk of transferring into the Europa League.

In 2018 the Gunners were beaten in the semi-final by the La Liga giants and last season lost to the Greek outfit at the round of 32 stage thanks to the away goals rule.

Below, we look at which sides could drop from the Champions League into the Europa League to provide a huge threat to Arsenal's chances of European glory this season.

The 11 Champions League teams who could drop into the Europa League:

Group A: Atletico Madrid, Red Bull Salzburg, Lokomotiv Moscow

Group B: Borussia Monchengladbach, Shakhtar Donetsk, Real Madrid, Inter Milan

Group C: Olympiacos, Marseille

Group D: Atalanta, Ajax
