Man United predicted line-up vs Chelsea: Odion Ighalo decision as Bruno Fernandes keeps place

Chelsea take on Manchester United tonight in what is a huge game in the race for the top four.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side sit ninth in the Premier League table, six points behind Chelsea, but can cut the gap to three with a victory in west London.

United have already beaten Frank Lampard's side twice in all competitions this season, but know Monday night's clash will be tough given their injury problems in midfield.

After dropping points against Burnley and Wolves before the mid-season break, the Red Devils know there is no room for error.

The visitors will be boosted by January signing Odion Ighalo, who is set to be included in the squad to face Chelsea.

Ighalo missed United's warm-weather training camp due to travel restriction concerns, but Solskjaer said the former Watford striker will be involved, with the forward to make his potential debut off the bench.

"Yeah, he is going to travel with us," the United manager told the official club website.

"We will just see his fitness work this week and I think we will get him sharp.

"We want to integrate him as quickly as we can because, of course, he is desperate to play for us."

Fellow new arrival Bruno Fernandes is also set to keep his place in the team, having already made his full debut in the goalless draw against Wolves.

The Portugal midfielder moved to Old Trafford last month in a deal worth £47million, and started alongside Fred and Andreas Pereira in the clash against Nuno Espirito Santo's side.

Fernandes won't be joined by Scott McTominay, however, despite the Scotland international returning to full training over the break.

The game also comes too soon for Paul Pogba, who was seen doing gym work.

"Don't think we'll get anyone back for the Chelsea game ready," Solskjaer said.

"Scotty, Axel, Tim, they didn't join too much so are not ready to play in that game. And Paul is not ready, of course."

Predicted Man United XI to face Chelsea: De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw; Fred, Matic, Fernandes; James, Martial, Greenwood
