Man United, Liverpool FC and Chelsea FC fans make same Thierry Henry and Sergio Aguero claim

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero became the highest scoring foreign player in Premier League history, beating Thierry Henry's record, during the win against Aston Villa in the Premier League leading to rivals fans making a bold claim.

Aguero has established himself as a City legend since joining the club from Atletico Madrid back in 2011.

He is the club's record goal scorer and wrote his name in the history books again during the rout at Villa Park.

Aguero netted a hat-trick which saw him overtake Henry as the highest scoring foreign player in Premier League history as well as becoming the player with the most hat-tricks ahead of Alan Shearer.

Naturally, debate was sparked among fans as to which player was superior.

Even supporters of three Man City rivals - Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea - were in agreement that the Argentine had done enough to surpass the legendary Frenchman.

They took to social media to make the case for Aguero overtaking the Arsenal icon.
