Man United legend Paul Scholes can't believe what Freddie Ljungberg did against Norwich

Paul Scholes has taken a shot at Arsenal interim head coach Freddie Ljungberg for not wearing a suit on the touchline for their clash against Norwich City.

The former Gunners midfielder kick-started a new reign for the club after Unai Emery was sacked last week as he took charge of their clash at Carrow Road.

Whilst the man in the dugout may have changed, the same defensive vulnerabilities were on show as Arsenal were forced to come from behind, twice, to draw 2-2 with relegation-threatened Norwich City.

However, it wasn't the hap-hazardous defending that irked former Manchester United legend Paul Scholes but Ljungberg's attire.

Ljungberg arrived at Carrow Road sporting a grey jumper and shirt combination, before sticking on a club jacket to keep him warm during the match.

However, that didn't impress Scholes who felt his apparel didn't match the role he is now overseeing as the club's interim boss.

"You would think he'd be out in a suit to show a bit of proudness that he took the job," Scholes said on Premier League Productions.

"To me that's a great start - shirt and tie to show some discipline.

"I don't think he'll be the right man."

It's fair to say that success in the Premier League isn't directly tied to a manager's dress code.

Jurgen Klopp has recently revealed how he hates wearing a suit on the touchline, whilst Pep Guardiola also tends to opt for the smart-casual approach.

Emery, like Arsene Wenger before him, did usually wear a suit and tie during his tenure but still struggled to warm up to the Arsenal fans.
