Man United legend Gary Neville pokes fun at Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs over top London club

Former Manchester United captain Gary Neville has given his view on the top club in London.

Unfortunately, fans of Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur will be left disappointed by his answer.

In a question and answer session hosted on his Twitter account the retired right-back struggled to take one punter's query seriously.

When asked about which team is currently the top club from the capital, the 44-year-old decided to go in another direction.

Rather than tell supporters of clubs from within the M25 what they wanted to hear, he opted to shift focus to a different kind of London club.

On a weekend that saw Arsenal collapse to a 2-2 draw with Watford after Chelsea beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 5-2 and Spurs roared back into form with a 4-0 thrashing of Crystal Palace, Neville picked out Annabel's as his night spot of choice.

The Mayfair-based establishment was founded in 1963 and is described as an "elegant private club with starlit dance floor for the famous, the dressed-up and the well-heeled."

It is a members-only nightclub and in 2003 even hosted Queen Elizabath II.

The inside of Annabel's features a collection of paintings and an eye-catching interior designed by the daughter of the founder, Mark Birley.

Over the years, the club has hosted some of the biggest names in show business, from Frank Sinatra to Lady Gaga.

Would a select XI taken from their guest list be good enough to beat the likes of Harry Kane, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Tammy Abraham?

Even the world of Fantasy Football has its limits.
