Man United join Luis Diaz race as Atletico turn to Anthony Martial and more transfer rumours

Manchester United are reportedly among a host of clubs eyeing Porto winger Luis Diaz.

The 24-year-old has been in impressive form this season with 13 goals and three assists in all competitions.

Calciomercato say that United, as well as Man City, Liverpool and Newcastle are looking to acquire the wide-man next summer.

He has two-and-a-half years remaining on his current deal at the Portuguese giants, Chelsea have been quoted around £42m according to previous reports.

The report from the Italian outlet heavily pins the focus on Manchester United's rivals, City, insisting that he is one of the players that Pep Guardiola is following.

It also states that they face a problem with the Magpies, the Reds and Jurgen Klopp's side circling.

Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid have become the latest team to reportedly register their interest in Anthony Martial.

Last Friday, the Frenchman's agent put a number of clubs on red alert as he revealed that the former Monaco man is looking to leave Old Trafford in January.

He has struggled for form in recent seasons and has seen his place in the squad diminish, stumbling down the pecking order.

According to Eurosport, the reigning La Liga champions are set to show interest in his services in January.

However, they favour a swap deal and the report states that they are expected to enquire with United over the situation and discover more about his valuation.

With two years remaining on his deal in the North West, it is imaginable that a sizeable fee would be required to take him away from the Reds midseason.

Currently, he is recovering from a knee injury but after failing to cement a place in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's squad, it is thought that he isn't hopeful of breaking into Ralf Rangnick's plans with the latest development.
