Man United hero Roy Keane aims dig at Arsenal ahead of Ian Wright going on I'm A Celebrity 2019

Tonight is the night for Arsenal legend Ian Wright as he enters the jungle for I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here.

The former Arsenal striker has been confirmed as one of the contestants on the reality television show, which is set to begin tonight (Sunday) on ITV.

The 56-year-old is not the first former footballer to go on the show, with Kieron Dyer, Wayne Bridge and Neil Ruddock among the ex-contestants, while former Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp was crowned king of the jungle last year after winning the show.

But ahead of Wright's appearance on I'm A Celebrity 2019, ITV Sport pundits Roy Keane and Lee Dixon have been speaking about what to expect from the former Arsenal man.

Wright's former team-mate Dixon said he was confident the ex-England international would be able to deal with an aerial arrival into the show, but that he hoped he would cope with some other things.

Speaking after England's 4-0 win in Kosovo, he said: "I think he is alright with heights, but the rest of it, the dark, spiders, good luck with that!”

Meanwhile, Keane aimed a dig at Wright and Dixon's former club as the former Manchester United midfielder said: “Well as an ex-Arsenal player, he will be frightened of a lot of things, won’t he?”

Keane faced Arsenal plenty of times during his playing career, with his former club Manchester United having a rivalry with the Gunners that spanned the late 1990s and early 2000s with both sides vying for the Premier League title.
