Man United fans send clear Harry Kane message to Ed Woodward as Tottenham set £200m price

Manchester United fans have taken to social media to react to reports that Tottenham have slapped a £200m asking price on the head of star striker Harry Kane.

The Daily Mail report that Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy would be willing to sell the striker should a bid of £200m be made.

Manchester United have been the club to be most heavily linked with the striker in recent months, as they look to add to their strikeforce during the summer window.

The Red Devils would have been encouraged in their pursuit after Kane himself admitted that he could move on from Tottenham.

Tim Sherwood claims he will be a difficult act to follow

I love Spurs, I'll always love Spurs,” he said last month.

"But I've always said, if I don't feel we're going in the right direction then I'm not someone who will just stay for the sake of it.

"I'm an ambitious player, I want to become one of the best players."

Kane has been out injured since the start of the year after suffering a hamstring injury in the New Year’s Day defeat to Southampton.

It is the latest of a number of injuries suffered by the England international over the last few seasons, and it is that along with the price that is the main concern for Manchester United fans, who took to Twitter to send a clear message to the club.

Despite the injuries, Kane is on track to beat Alan Shearer’s long-standing Premier League goalscoring record.

The England captain has scored 136 goals in 201 appearances in the league.

This season he has bagged 17 goals in 25 appearances in all competitions.
