Man Utd fans moved by what Daniel James did after stunning debut goal against Chelsea

Daniel James made a dream start to life in the Premier League as Manchester United's super-sub helped sink Chelsea 4-0 at Old Trafford.

The former Swansea City speed merchant was brought off the bench after 74 minutes by United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and within eight minutes had scored a debut goal in the top flight.

His strike was set up by Paul Pogba, with the French World Cup winner playing a one-two with Anthony Martial in his own half before surging forward.

He spotted spots jet-propelled James bursting on the right and slid him in.

Lots of Man Utd fans were thrilled for James, who has won many hearts and minds at Old Trafford since his arrival shortly after the death of his father.

It looked like the chance had gone but James got his shot away and it deflected off Emerson and past Kepa into the net for the fourth and final United goal in front of the Stretford End.

He also showed one of the world's leading defensive midfielders N'Golo Kante a clean pair of heels to endear himself to United fans further with the French star picking up a yellow card for tripping James up.

His goal and wildly passionate celebration, running to the corner flag as he was mobbed by team-mates, sent social media spinning with United fans acclaiming their summer signing from the Liberty Stadium.
