Man United fans can't believe what Ole Gunnar Solskjaer did to Mikel Arteta during Arsenal loss

Manchester United's 2020 got off to the worst start possible as they were beaten 2-0 by Arsenal on New Year's Day.

With Chelsea drawing away at Brighton and Hove Albion in the day's early kick-off in the Premier League coupled with both Tottenham Hotspur and Wolves losing, the Red Devils had the chance to send a message to their rivals for a top four finish.

However, they had no answer to the Gunners' first-half display which had them in front thanks to goals from Nicolas Pepe and Sokratis.

Despite dominating possession after the break, the visitors couldn't find a way through and it's a case of two steps forward and one step backwards following wins over Newcastle United and Burnley ahead of the game at the Emirates Stadium.

And fans have spotted something rather unusual from head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

With the score still 1-0 to the Gunners, the cameras focuses on Gunners head coach Mikel Arteta shouting out instructions to his players.

Perhaps by coincidence, the next shot is of Solskjaer doing the same thing.

The theory is that the United boss is was copying the Gunners boss.

This prompted anger amongst some Man United supporters on social media.

While some Arsenal fans found the clip hilarious...

Speaking after the match, Solskjaer was full of praise for the Gunners.

"They played really well," he told BBC programme Match of the Day. "I felt they were really sharp, they were brighter than us, both on the ball and when they lost it, they won it back and they were quick.

"We had one or two touches too many and gave them opportunities to win it back."
