Man United fans all say the same thing ahead of Liverpool clash

Confidence does not appear to be high amongst Manchester United fans at the moment.

Sunday will see the Red Devils host a Liverpool side who sit top of the Premier League table having won every fixture this season.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team come into the game off the back of a 1-0 defeat to Newcastle United which left them just two points above the relegation zone.

United's performance in the North East has left their manager under pressure for his job and they could do without a match against the league leaders and bitter rivals.

However, Solskjaer said that Liverpool was the 'perfect' game to rectify the mistakes they have made in recent performances.

But United supporters don't seem to agree with their manager and reacted accordingly to a post from the club's twitter account previewing Sunday's game.

The club's account wrote: "See what's coming up for the Reds over the next seven days... #MUFC."

One fan responded by saying "a right good hiding" while others shared similar opinions.

Many believe "pain", "disappointment" and "misery" is what awaits United while one fan said the international break should be extended.

Here is some of the reaction from fans:

The Red Devils might not be in the best form but games against Liverpool are never straightforward.

And Solskjaer's players are bound to be desperate to get one over on their rivals.

However, Liverpool fans are likely to be in a more confident mood after the team's 100% start to the season.

After the trip to Old Trafford on Sunday, the Reds travel to face Genk in the Champions League in midweek.

Spurs at Anfield awaits the following weekend, before Liverpool host Arsenal in the Carabao Cup in a hectic finish to the month.
