Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has warned Jose Mourinho and Tottenham ahead of the clash between the two sides at Old Trafford on Wednesday night.
Spurs have put together three straight wins since Mourinho took over from Mauricio Pochettino just two weeks ago, and have moved to within six points of the top four in the Premier League as a result of back-to-back 3-2 wins against West Ham and Bournemouth.
United, meanwhile, have one just once in their last four league matches and sit ninth in the table, two points behind Spurs.
Solskjaer finds himself under pressure, just one year after taking over from Mourinho at Old Trafford, and there are reports that if they lose to Spurs he could be axed.
Our friends at the Manchester Evening News reported exclusively on Tuesday that Mauricio Pochettino 'wants' the Red Devils job if Solskjaer leaves.
But Solskjaer is not planning on going anywhere just yet.
And he delivered a warning to Mourinho and Spurs ahead of the meeting at Old Trafford on Wednesday night.
He said: "Three days or four days are not going to change a whole lot, but these two games are great chances to improve things and prove to ourselves we can continue in the vein against some of the better sides.
"We've had some good results against good teams and we’ve got a plan for Wednesday night.
"It’s that time of year, it's never nice to see your colleagues lose your job in a very short space of time, some of them.
"One result, Southampton, Watford with the handball, and we’re talking about something completely different. Sometimes you have luck, sometimes you don’t. But it doesn’t make me any more concerned that it is December."
