Man United and Spurs fans will love the Gareth Bale prediction former Real Madrid chief has made

Gareth Bale's future at Real Madrid is in serious doubt and the latest comments from former president Roman Calderon are great news for Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.

Bale's representatives have consistently reiterated for months that the Welsh forward will be aiming to stay put at Real despite transfer links with the Premier League.

But comments from Real boss Zinedine Zidane at the weekend have cast further doubt over Bale's future, with Zidane choosing not to feature the 29-year-old during Madrid's final league game of the season.

Calderon has since told the BBC that it is 'impossible' for Bale to stick around in Madrid following the latest development.

"Zidane is not keen on him; it is a relationship that will come to an end," Calderon told BBC Sport Wales.

"It seems it is impossible for him to be here because of the coach and the relationship with the fans."

Zidane's aforementioned comments included the suggestion that Bale no longer 'fits into' the Real team.

"I'm sorry he didn't get to play, but no one knows what will happen," Zidane said.

"No one can change what Bale has done for the team, but as a coach I have to live in the present."

Calderon has now claimed that Bale has played his last game for Real.

"Zidane, last year when he left, he thought it was imperative to keep (Cristiano) Ronaldo and to sell Bale and they decided not to do that," Calderon added.

"It seems it was his last game for Real Madrid. The fans think he is not committed and that is a problem.
