Man United agree Dembele deal, Bayern Munich plot £50m transfer - Latest Premier League rumours

The Premier League’s return date is still yet to be confirmed, but that hasn’t stopped clubs from planning for next season.

The transfer window may be a lot quieter than usual due to the current financial crisis – but that’s not the case according to some news outlets.

Here is a collection of today’s best Premier League transfer rumours from around Europe.

The most expensive Premier League transfers ever

Bayern prepare £50m+ Sane bid

Manchester City winger Leroy Sane could be subject of a bid worth more than £50m from German champions Bayern Munich.

Sane is a long-term target of Bayern, who believe they will need to bid around €65m (£56.75m) if they are to secure the German forward, according to the Telegraph .

The 24-year-old has just one season remaining on his current deal in Manchester and City will be wary of letting his contract run down too much.

Bayern’s interest in Sane was rekindled recently, after initially valuing him at £35m, before City made it clear that they would have to offer more to land the speedy winger.

United agree deal for Dembele

Manchester United have completed a deal to sign Lyon striker, and reported Chelsea target, Moussa Dembele, according to Todofichajes .

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been searching for a permanent replacement for Romelu Lukaku, who left Old Trafford to join Inter Milan last summer.

United have played Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial through the centre, and also signed Odion Ighalo in January on a loan deal to try and fill the void left by the Belgian’s departure.

According to the report, an agreement has been reached between all three parties for the 23-year-old to join Solskjaer’s side next season.

Dembele signed for Lyon in August 2018 after an impressive spell in the SPL for Scottish giants Celtic.

Barca keen on Foyth signing

Barcelona are interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur defender Juan Foyth, according to a report in the Mirror .

Foyth has featured just eight times since José Mourinho was appointed as Spurs manager earlier in the season.

The Argentine defender wants to play first-team football next season and Spurs are more than willing to let the 22-year-old leave the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Barca are set to offload a central defender this summer – with Samuel Umtiti and Jean-Clair Todibo amongst the names linked with a move away from the Camp Nou.

Stekelenburg set to leave Everton

Everton are set to tell goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg to find a new club in the summer as they look to bring a new ‘keeper into the club.

The 37-year-old has played as a back-up for Jordan Pickford for the Blues this season, and his deal at Goodison Park expires at the end of next month.

Football Insider are reporting that Carlo Ancelotti wants to bring a new shot-stopper in to try and offer Pickford some competition.

The former Holland number one has made only 26 appearances for the Toffees since signing in 2016.
