Man United ace Luke Shaw sends Bukayo Saka message after Arsenal starlet's England masterclass

Bukayo Saka has enjoyed an extremely fruitful 18 months since breaking into the Arsenal first team.

The talented winger has consistently demonstrated creativity, speed and quickness of thought, attributes that mean he is now one of the first names on Mikel Arteta's teamsheet.

In fact, Saka notched eight goals and 10 assists for the Gunners last term, earning himself the club's Player of the Year award in the process.

The 20-year-old's consistent performances were also noticed by England boss Gareth Southgate, who named him in The Three Lions squad for Euro 2020, an inclusion that raised some eyebrows from rival fans.

The London-born starlet soon proved doubters wrong over the course of the tournament, picking up a man of the match award for a brilliant display against the Czech Republic before assisting England's equaliser in the semi-final against Denmark.

However, his campaign ended in heartbreak after missing the decisive spot-kick during a penalty shootout in July's final against Italy, a moment that resulted in the youngster being targeted with racist abuse across social media.

Saka took to the Wembley pitch on Sunday for the first time since the clash against the Azzuri, producing a masterful display on his 20th birthday as he bagged a goal and an assist during a comfortable 4-0 win over Andorra in their World Cup qualifier.

After the game, Manchester United defender Luke Shaw took to social media to wish his compatriot a happy birthday, whilst also congratulating Saka's footballing ability as well as his character.

"Happy Birthday to not only a special player but an even more special guy", his Instagram story read. "Keep shining bro."
