Man tries to be pregnant for an entire day- but he can't even manage to get out of bed

There are some women who absolutely adore being pregnant, they love the glow, the bump, everything about it.

But many others will tell you that it's no walk in the park, with the morning sickness, hormones, weird food cravings and of course, the expanding weight you have to carry.

Men have no idea what it's like to go through these changes - but one man has recently tried to understand, by attempting to be pregnant for an entire day.

A TikTok user named Maitland Hanley, who recently had a baby, uploaded a video to the social media platform of himself trying to be pregnant.

In the clip, Maitland can be seen lying down on a bed, with a large watermelon wrapped to his belly with cling film.

Above, he has two melons wrapped to his chest like breasts.

A woman in the background makes a beeping sound, imitating an alarm clock and he is instructed to get up for the day.

Initially, he is cocky, believing it will be no problem at all to stand up.

"Yeah, watch this," he says as he attempts to swing his body around and into an upright position.

However, he soon finds himself encumbered by the fake belly.

He tries once more to get up, managing to get his legs over the side of the bed.

"I thought it would be so much easier," he admits as the video ends, his pals can be heard laughing hysterically at his failure.

The clip has since gone viral, being viewed over 15 million times and garnering more than one million likes.

Thousands of people responded to the video, with one person saying: "Women are superheroines."

Another wrote: "You thought this was going to be easy..."

"Hahaha women rock," proclaimed a third.

"My god be gentle, the baby will get hurt, that's not how we do it," added someone else.
